The PLAYBOY years (1977-1996)

Playboy is a men’s lifestyle and entertainment magazine of the American press founded in Chicago in 1953 by Hugh Hefner. It is known for its playmates and nude photographs, but also for some of its substantive articles and quality interviews.

Lassalvy worked for the French, Italian and German editions of this magazine from 1977 to 1996. During those colorful years, the cartoonist sees life in pink. True to his whimsical style and saucy humor, he creates numerous gags depicting popular figures in burlesque situations. Their audacious and often surreal adventures invite us to look upon them with amusement and complicity.

Find here the cartoonist’s facetious spirit accompanied by his sexy playmates in the most famous charm magazine. Excerpts !
